Core Market Metrics

At the top of the page, you can see the core macro data for the current crypto market:
  • Global Market Cap: The current total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies and its change over the last 24 hours.
  • 24h Volume: The total trading volume across the network in the last 24 hours, reflecting market activity.
  • Bitcoin Dominance: Bitcoin’s market cap as a percentage of the global crypto market cap. An increase usually signals capital moving to BTC for safety; a decrease often preludes “Altcoin Season.”
  • Active Users: An estimate of the number of active on-chain addresses across the network.

Macro Sentiment Indicators

In addition to basic data, we provide several key market sentiment indicators:

1. Fear & Greed Index

Reflects the overall sentiment of market participants.
  • 0-49 (Fear): The market is in a state of fear, potentially presenting a buying opportunity.
  • 50 (Neutral): Market sentiment is neutral.
  • 51-100 (Greed): The market is in a state of greed, potentially indicating a correction risk.

2. Altcoin Season Index

Measures whether capital is favoring Bitcoin or altcoins.
  • Bitcoin Season: Capital is primarily focused on Bitcoin.
  • Alt Season: Capital is overflowing into altcoins, often accompanied by broad altcoin price gains.

3. ETH Gas Price

Real-time display of the Ethereum mainnet base transaction fee (Gwei). Helps you judge network congestion and decide if it’s a good time for mainnet interactions.
